Russian River Pinot and TGE go to the Riviera!
The French and Italian Riviera is one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world. It is also the home of the Châteauneuf du Pape, Côte du Provénce and Bandol appellations, which produce some of the world's most sought after wines. The Pinot Noirs of the Russian River Valley are also recognized for their opulence of fruit and finesse, so when we saw this itinerary, and the symmetry between the two regions, we knew we had to go.
We’ll be sailing aboard Oceania Cruises’ Insignia June 17 – 27, 2010 with an itinerary of fabulous French and Italian ports of call including Portovénere and Portofino, Italy and Cannes, St. Tropez, Sanary and Sete France.
So we’re very excited about the food and wine treasures that await us on this dream vacation and sharing this experience with friends who also share a passion for Pinot!

A Wine & Food Affair is the premier event for the Wine Road, Northern Sonoma County!
Join us for a weekend of wine and food pairing in the Alexander, Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys.
All of the wineries participating will have a favorite winery recipe in the cookbook, which they will prepare both days for you to sample, along with the perfect wine.

Join us at the top of Baker Ridge for a spectacular afternoon on the vineyard, celebrating our second estate harvest and the release of the 69-case production 2007 Baker Ridge-Backbone Block Pinot Noir, as well as our appreciation to you, our Wine Club Members, for your enthusiasm and support during our first months of operation.
Enjoy the unique experience of a gourmet lunch catered by Bob Blumer, of the Food Network’s “Surreal Gourmet” (www.surrealgourmet.com ) and “Glutton for Punishment”, paired with our wines, while enjoying musical entertainment and breathtaking views of some of the most beloved area vineyards at one of the most beautiful times of the year.

Sonoma in the City Coming to Canada!
SCV’s big Canada tour is set for September 21-25 when we travel to Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver to lead tastings and seminars for trade, media and consumers. The action-packed schedule includes presentations to the liquor boards in each province, along with retailer and trade tastings designed to drive Canadian business. New this year is an additional PR and media relations component being managed by Toronto-based Praxis PR. Thomas George Estates is excited to be a part of this. Event schedule is as follows:

Announcing the Canadian Launch of Thomas George Estates

Tom and Jeremy Baker were on hand at George on the Green in Toronto for the recent Canadian launch of our artisan wine brand. Approximately 100 people, including many representatives of the press, were there to hear our story and taste our wines. The wines were very well received, and we’re proud to announce that they will soon be featured on the wine lists of many of Toronto’s best restaurants. See photos in the gallery!
